Botco.ai Selected as Arizona Innovation Challenge Awardee

We are delighted to announce that Botco.ai is a winner of the Fall 2019 Arizona Innovation Challenge. Hosted by the Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA), this business plan competition is one of the largest in the United States. It’s purpose? “To advance innovation and technology commercialization opportunities in Arizona by helping early-stage ventures scale.” No small feat, if you ask us. 

Sandra Watson, President & CEO of the Arizona Commerce Authority said, “Each of these companies is advancing exciting innovations in digital health, wearables, fintech, SaaS and more. We could not be more proud to help them scale and achieve success in Arizona.”

Botco.ai was named winner in the IT-software category, and is in the company of such incredible awardees as Reglagene, an organization discovering new medications that attack cancer’s weaknesses, and Biosensing Instrument, Inc, a technology leader in label-free molecular interaction analysis applications creating solutions used in academic and biopharmaceutical research for the measurement of affinity and kinetics of small molecules or biologics. The ACA is Arizona’s leading economic development organization with a streamlined mission to grow and strengthen Arizona’s economy. Companies chosen to join the Arizona Innovation Challenge portfolio will participate in the ACA’s Venture Ready Accelerator, which connects companies with serial entrepreneurs, high-level executives and subject matter experts. The program is critical to the development of these startups, giving them the opportunity to “refine their business plans, improve go-to-market execution strategies and increase investor readiness.” Within a year of the award, as part of Venture Ready, participants will complete a series of panels and workshops and will receive a $150,000 grant from the State of Arizona in non-dilutive funding.

It was an arduous application process and competition was very tough, as there are a lot of great startups in Phoenix. We are excited to be building the future of marketing technology here in Arizona. Our vision for the company is to grow it into a company that will employ top talent in AZ and become a leading contender in AI software for conversational marketing.
